that would only make our cars even heavier because they would have to reinforce the rest for the car. not worth it, unless they offered it in the twin turbo package.

I don't know how much they have to reinforce it, but my guess is you would need all the GT Spec reinforcement bars and a roll bar that goes through the B pillar and roof. the top itself would need to be reinforced too but light enough so you can get it off easily. this wouldn't be a weight saving mod for sure. it's more for those who don't like the convertible look but still like the have an open top. like the t-tops on firebirds and camaros.

looks really good, i actually saw this on a 2g Eclipse once...some guy did the modification and it looked sweet..i wonder how much it would cost for the g..
