problems with short shifter

hey, maybe some of you recognize the name from the meet. well i got it in by the end of the meet but it doesnt exactly sit right, i drove home on it and it feels like a bit of a shorter throw but it vibrates just as much as the stock shifter and feels LESS smooth than stock. oh ye, this is the pro-1 short shifter. any advice, should i just go back to stock and take the loss???, or could i have installed it wrong

The stock shifter is short enough and on mine, it doesn't vibrate like some of
you have claimed. i'd change the boot and perhaps the shift ****, but not
the shifter itself. You can't shift this gear box that fast anyway.

Nice to know you made it home....we talked a bit at the meet; I have the Red G with the Rogue Engineering shifter...as I recall you did not have any lithium grease. I suggest that you take it out and put a lot of grease on.

hey irony, whats goin on man, ye i went to home depot and bout lithium grease, was planning on doing the shifter today but started with my intake first, just put on the injen and i LOVE it. when i first put it on it would whistle a bit but that stopped, now at wot its just perfect, i love the way it sounds. im really after that wot loudness and smooth luxury at cruise. so long story short i didnt get to do the shifter yet but im gonna do it sometime this week along with race pipes i have sittin in my trunk. let you know how it turns out, if i dont like it ill check out drews and maybe go with the RE shifter. its deff shorter, i just dont like that it has all this passage without use, 5th and 6th are a pain in the ***.
