How Much Per Tank & Where..
Just passed a BP in Queens coming home from dinner where I usually fill up the G but was in my convert. 2.91 for premium, key word = just passed, didn't have to fil up the G
When is this stuff gonna level off.

All this talk about gas. It's the taxes that make up the difference in most cases. I used to live in So Cal. I gave up good weather for lower taxes and an affordable place to live in Texas.
Here's my take on gas prices. I hear all these guys complain about the rising gas prices -- and the possibility of trading in their G35. Try this scenario on for size:
Let's assume you drive 20,000 miles a year and average (for easy math sake) 15 mile a gallon (driving like most of us do it's not a stretch). That would mean you purchase 1,333 gallons a year.
With a favorable gas price of $2.50 a gallon, purchasing 1,333 gallons would equal $3,332 a year. If gas is unreasonable at $3.05 a gallon you would be paying $4,065 a year. That's a delta or difference of $733.
Moral of the story: $733 is a small price to pay to ride in style. That's one less mod, or 5 less nights on the town, or three less driving tickets, or one less girlfriend, etc...

I just filled up today at 7-11. 18 gallons at $2.75 for 93 octane was $49.60. I usually check my miles per gallon after every tank and it's always 21-22mpg. I think that is pretty good.
On another note, be happy we don't live in the Bahamas. I just got back from Atlantis yesterday....gas was $4.50 a gallon for regular and is expected to surpass $5 a gallon.

That's just crazy!
