good deal?

hello everyone, i've been visiting and reading this forum for a while because there is a ton of good info here. im looking for some advice.
i live in long island ny and found a black '04 6mt coupe w/ 20,000 miles for $29,500. $32,221.38 otd. there is no nav but it does have brembos and 18" wheels. i wanted to get some opinions to see if this is a good deal or not. thanks for your comments and suggestions.

Ive seen better deals. Thats like Kelly BB for that car. If you wait a bit more, you can spend a few more grand and get an 05 when the 06's start coming in.

What I paid

I live in South Jersey and I bought my car from Winner Infiniti in Newark DE. (Talk to sales manager ALEX, he's a cool guy)

I got an 04' Coupe 6MT aero, premium, pref. tires/wheel (brembro brakes), sat. radio, trunk mat, ( i think thats it)
I paid $34,500 ( i believe thatw was $1,000 over invoice) So $30,000 for a used with 20000 miles, dunno if thats a bad deal but for a few more you might swing the 05', nice new and not abused.

thanks for responding. im really trying not to go too much over $30,000 if possible. sounds like you have a great deal. was it $34,500 otd or did you have more fees and tax added to that?
i can pull out $24,000 in cash and they are giving mr $4,000 for my trade in (98 honda accord ex coupe) w/ 85,000 miles. i know they are raping me with the trade in. it has minor dents and some scratches with discorloring on my hood.(the honda)

Got mine for 29,500 03 Premium package, 6mt(obvious brembos), spoiler, 3m clear bra, 13,000 miles, it was 31,076 out the door... not a scratch dent or ding on the car, all original panels couldnt ask for more... (well maybe NAVI)

see if you can bring them down to 29000 even and I would do it given its in pristine condition

OTD price

it was 34,500 +tax/tags. Not a bad deal on the MT. I just played hardball and said I wouldn't go over that price, seemed to work.

you dont have to hide your enthusiam. but do come prepared and do your research. just give him a # and let him know thats the highest price youll buy it at. if you cant do that then we cant do business. but if you can then i can buy it today. he'll say some bs about you screwing him or being unfair. just walk away.

why dont you wait a few more months and get some used 05s when the 06s come out?

i know how you feel tho. when i saw my car. silver with black interior fully loaded i wanted to get it and i didnt think straight. i was thinking damn i better buy it now or someone else will buy it and i wont be able to find this combo again.

dont let them rush you. they will give u BS that he needs to sell it today or that this price is only good for a week or that he needs to meet his quota and this is why he giving you a good price. and dont buy the extended warranty.

Dont be afraid to walk away

Just remember there are alot of vehicles out there for sell, so you can always walk away. Find a price that you are willing to pay and stick to it. Let the salesman know you dont want to waste his time and be up front with him. Make SURE you are always on the offensive and do not let them make you feel guilty or whatever. Call around and be willingto talk business over the phone with deals within a few hours, might suprise you how easy they are to deal with over the phone a few hours away.

Bottom line its still a bad *** car and you will not feel like a jerk for paying 1000 or so to much, cuase you got the car.
