Don't we already have a topic on this...? a LONGER one? either way, the only thing I might retrofit is probably the BlueTooth... but I'll probably go aftermarket for that. I like my 05! I hope the 05 value goes up from this =PPPP

 

I would love to retrofit the bluetooth. You could with the BMW's b/c they had the mic built in already b/c of BMW Assist. I think we'll only have aftermarket options...I hope not though

there are actually 3 threads and its annoying having to scan all three....but...it's doing a good job keeping me from working

 

From what I read, please correct me if I am wrong, the intelligent key and bluetooth are standard on the 5ATs, however, 6MTs have the option of getting them also if you decide to get the premium package. The premium package includes the above options.

 

I hope the 6MTs have the option of having the IKey. I read it as only the AT will get the IKey. I think the bluetooth is available to both. The way Infiniti words things is a little confusing sometimes, so I'm not sure who's right.

no because people will leave it in gear and try to start the car.. dumb... also i like the new spoiler and the new side skirts.. nothing to go out and buy another car .. im kitted up anyways but i need to see the tail lights in person and light up to make a choice on them.. projectors are fat and so is blue tooth..everything else sucks

 

MT's may NEVER have the Ikey. Reason: Lawyers

The first time somebody leaves it in gear and hits the "start" button, it's all over....

And if you fix it so it won't start when it's in gear (only smart) somebody will get pissed off and say it didn't work and throw a fit.

 

I could see that, but other cars offer it with the MT. The '06 Corvette for example. I'm sure there are others, but can't think of them right now. The process really isn't any different than using the key to start it, other than the convenience of not having to pull out a key. You still have to disengage the clutch to start it. Keyless or not, it's still the drivers responsibility to know if they are in gear or not when they release the clutch.
