Smile G35 Help....

I'm new to this forum so go easy on me. I am going to possible trade in my 2005 Nissan Titan for a 2003 G35 Coupe 6mt. Is there anything I should know about the 2003 year model or the G35 in general before buying? Maybe there are some things I should look out for before purchasing? Also I am considering a 2003 G35 sedan 6mt. Thanks in advanced for your help!

03 sedan 6MT will be VERY hard to find. Early 03s had a lot of tranny grinding problems.. window motors going bad.. gas tank sending unit problems... rear axle clicking. All should be covered by warranty. That's about the most common complaints I can think of. Try to find a late 03 (look at the last 6 digits of the VIN) and have Infiniti check the service record to see if it's been taken in for any major problems.

Sounds like your going from one extreme to another.
You never used the Titan as a truck & yet you travel to family etc on weekends.

Why not a 6mt sedan, it'll give you more room on those outings,
& is within a wisker of the coupe performance wise.

Sedan and Coupe are very comparable when running apples against apples.

6MT will run with 6MT, 5AT will run with 5AT. Sedan vs coupe, sedan vs sedan, coupe vs coupe. The numbers are neck and neck with each winning and losing on any given occasion.

In short, it would likely come down to the driver, the launch, the specific cars, and luck.

As for the G you show - I have no idea - I can't recall ever seeing that one posted here as a member's ride.

Food for thought...Nissan bought back my 04 Titan due to the brake judder issue some of the 04's had. Overall it was a nice truck, lots of power, all the aminities of a nice car plus the bed, but after owning both I would never even consider spending that much on a truck ever again. Compared to my G... there is no comparison if you go with the G don't plan on hauling anything or towing a boat with it. It's a luxury sport coupe. And as far as these types of cars are concerned there is nothing even close IMO. Buy the G buy and a beater truck for hauling crap and be done with it you WONT be dissapointed!
