Oh yeah one more thing... is there instructions on how to mount them and did they mount flush for you?

And what is that emblem in the back? Does that say 35G?

 

What's Zaino? Is that a wax or something? I use Mothers products, love em! Easy on, easy off, and they don't put a whole in your wallet when you run out. One product in particular that I really like is Showtime. Awesome stuff, to keep my black G looking shinny in between washes and waxes.

The splash guards mount utilizing existing body molding screws for alignment purposes, double stick tape to keep them flush to the body and you'll need to drill a few more holes to really secure them in place. They're really easy to install. You'll need a 5mm-8mm drill bit and drill, a 10mm socket and ratchet (for the rear splash guard) a philips screwdriver, and some rubbing alcohol to prep and clean the surface of the body for the double stick tape.

Good job on the one side spash guard and other side no splash guard run. I've been debating for the last couple of weeks on whether or not to get the guards. Even went to the dealer today to check out a coupe in DP to see how it looks. Now that I know that they actually work, I'm gonna place an order asap. thanks.

Thanks dude...I was just wondering how SGs would look on my black coupe and in your pics, apparently awesome. Can't wait to drive up to Grubbs one of these days to get my G fully accessorized.

 

Red... the rear one does get a little tricky, becouse of the tight area between the tire and the guard, but you can do it by drilling in on angle. It won't effect anything, as all you need is the hole to slip on the retainer clip and then screw in the enclosed screws. If you take the wheel, yes it will make your job a lot easier, but I worked around it.

I just ordered my splash guards.

The question I am wondering is do your front splash guards scrape on speed bumps or curbs?

Is it ghetto to just put the rear splash guards on? I figure those are the drive wheels and more likely to splash around.

 

My G is lowered 1.75" and they do not scrape what so ever. You could get either or set, but having both really compliment the over all body lines of the car.

Regarding the "splashing" in actuality its the front wheels that tend to spray more debris on your body than the rear.

 

hey man..i called my local dealer..they quoted me at $89.25 per set for the mudguards and $378.80 for the front lip ..all painted of course... they said they can install it as well..but they charge..that i didnt get..any better prices out there?

 

The front lip is actually cheaper than the qoute I got which was around $400 and change, so if you can get for that amount go for it!

As for the splash guards, get em from Grubbs for $68 a set.
