CSD was the one who hooked me up with these rims...THANKS!!!

Suspension is not affected at all. They are the same exact sizes as the 18's, and they are OEM, so nothing to worry about.

I figured....Save a few thousand by going this route than aftermarket wheels, and I'll avoid the headaches of camber, suspension problems, and the like.

The ride is great; Not any stiffer than the 18's. The Bridgestone's feel like they grip the street like a charm, just like the pilot sports did, if not better.

Quote: haha...thanks KAHBOOM, but let me repeat.... My car is NOT lowered. Stock suspension. Maybe the wheels along with the front chin spoiler make it look that way...? What a great investment these rims were... People that are knowledgeable about the G35 are probably baffled when they see brembos with 19's....
Sorry to correct you but KAHBOOM was talking about mine.

Sorry about jackin ya bro, you plannin on lowering your G? I wsn't goin to until I got my 05 rims about a month ago, but I have to say you won't regret it. If you want to see what yours would look like lowered there are some better pics of mine on about the 3rd page of the gallery under coupes. if yours didn't look just like mine I'd be VERY green with envy

No desire to really lower it, although it does look great. I must say, Infiniti made a boo-boo when it decided to discontinue Brembos. Now all 6mt drivers seem like they are driving automatic. There is no way to tell. Unless someone comes out with a "6mt" decal. (Patent Pending).......jk

There are def some disadvantages to the lowered thing, I scraped my exhaust on a bump in the highway the other day and mine isn't that low. I agree with the Brembo thing. I get more comments and looks because of the 05 wheels with those sexy gold calipers peeking out. I also plan on doing the slotted brembo calipers when the OEM's bite the dust they also have a gold center, that's really gonna look sweet not to mention that they are about 900 for the set as opposed to 375 per rotor from infiniti OUCH!

How much did you pay for the 19" OEM rims? I'm looking for a set myself.

For a mint condition set, look to pay around 1300-1400 or so...

I thought a mint set would cost more? Maybe with more and more ppl buying 05s, the price will go down but I don't see too many OEM 19s for sale right now.

Btw, the car looks very clean and nice. The 19s definitely start to grow on you the more you look at them. Just today, I took the 04 and 05 brochure and did a side by side comparison and the 19s really stood out verses the 18s.
