VPP Pricing

Hi. This is my first post but have been browsing this website for a few months now. My question is this:

I have access to VPP pricing on an White 05 G35C 6 Speed; however, I am confused about how it all works. The question was brought up that I had to finance through the Infiniti Dealership and have my brother (Nissan Employee) co-sign for me. I already have a check to pay for the car through my bank because they had excellent financing options. Is this true? I hope not because I have had my eyes set on that car for the longest time and it is the last Color they have. I was even told that he has to be one of te people that register the car. What gives. If anyone has had VPP experience through Infiniti, please let me know all the details and how it all went for you. Expecting to buy the car tomorrow........ Thanks in advance!

Chris

I bought my car through VPP. You don't have to be financed through Infiniti (I'm fianced through my credit union). Since I did buy the car, it is registered to me.

good luck

My uncles cousin sponsored me for VPP and I've been pricing them and searching for the car with the exact packages I want and color, but he doesn't have to cosign or be one of the ones to register it....all they need from him is the Sponsor number that ties you to his discount now the discount may vary as there are 4 levels to it. A, B, C,D. A level is in the catagory of the Designers, and D levelis like for sponsored company's. I have access to D and C level thanks to my job and my relative so they are just trying to scam you into getting a higher APR...best advice, go to another dealership that accepts VPP sponsorhips and have them Pull the car or "trade" with that dealership so you don't have to deal with them and you get what you want, Enjoy an let me know how it goes as I'm looking to buy my car this week.
