Sorry for the Hook, but I have a dilema. I will be ordering my G35 coupe as soon as 2006's are available. All I need to do is pick the color and the rest is final. What should I pick:

1) White
2) Black
3) Diamond Graphite
4) liquid Patinum (i think thats the name of the new color

 

One of the questions, which you might want to ask yourself is, "How much time and effort do I plan to spend on keeping the car clean?" This might eliminate the darker colors, if that helps.

Everyone will give you their own personal preferences. However, you are ultimately spending the CASHOLA and time for maintaining the car.

All of the colors, which you have mentioned are great. Each with its own appeal. Among those colors, I would like to see the Liquid Platinum and its choice of interiors colors.

dang, guess i'm one of those few who loves the TB with willow. Still rare in my area.

 

I personally have Ivory Pearl because I got sick and tired of black cars. The metallic on IP looks sooooo HOT under street light at night time and it's just an eye catcher. Black is classy and still love it but I needed a change. During the day, I think black looks better but at night time, no color beats IP. Although DG is a very very popular color, I would never get it because it looks cheap to me.

 

If you have time to wash/wax your car weekly then by all means get black, its worth it in the end. Looks the best ONLY when its clean.

I was never realling feeling DG or BS ( something close to Liquid Ice), those colors on a G35 didn't flow right IMO.

But if the 2006 gives the option of white/black, then by all means get that, thats pure sexyness right there .

 

I was thinking the same thing, white or black. What are some good mods to boost hp to around 300 and get torque a little higher without spendind too much time and money.

 

#4- I have it (my M) and love it. It's a vibrant, classy colour that is fairly low maintenance.

I thought your car is Platinum Ice. Why did they change that name? I know a hair product thats been using that same name for several years. Maybe that was the problem huh????

 

Go for the liquid platinum. It's new.

I was between DG and IP when I bought mine. Seeing as IP was a girlie color , I decided on my DG. I love it. It is very popular on our car though. But the IP is very classy IMO too. It's different and beautiful to look at. I believe its also an expensive option for the Skylines in Japan (though I may be wrong).

Can't go wrong any of them though....
