Man,

The 19" tires is freakin expensive. I realized when I got the car that the tires were going to be a lot more, but it's over $750 for 2 tires.

All I can say is, WOW!

Mine are the Bridgestone Potenzas.

Tirerack.com has the OEM bridgestones for less than 300 for the rears. Granted it's not cheap, but it's also not $375 a tire.

I've seen Pirelli's for $230...yea you can't just go to your local pepboys and ask for 19's. Damn why couldn't Infiniti just make them dubs?!

btw...which tires are the best performance for 19's? I've always been a big fan of Dunlop when it comes to sports performace. I've heard Pirelli's are up there as well. Anybody with their .02?

Does Pirelli even make a 19" tire? I've looked but haven't found any. However, they would REALLY be expensive!

Yea, that's the price that Travis at Sewell quoted me. Rediculous (I'm not blaming Travis).

Question Have you considered Kuhmo?

I'm curious if anyone has tried the Kuhmo Ecsta MX on a G?.
Closest sizes are 235/35-19 front ($197) and 245/35-19 rear ($201) at
Tire Rack web site. I've only used the Kuhmo 700 Victoracer in my A-X days
and was quite happy with 'em, but w/ a treadwear of 50, I sure didn't use
them on the street.

Kumho MXs provide incredible grip and have a bad-*** looking tread pattern with huge blocks of rubber. IMO they grip better than the Pilot Sports by far. Mine wore fairly rapidly (20k) and got noisy about half way through their life (but, I was having some suspension issues at the time), but I would definately run them again for the pure grip that they provide.

Just bought a set of PS2's about a week ago, the bridgestones only lasted 8000 miles on the rear.. Much better set of tires but damn expensive. Paid $1326 shipped to my door from tirerack. Happy with the tires though
