I love your house....the "woods" are something we don't get to experience here in LA SoCal without driving 6 hours out of our way.

i like it too. it backs up to a 50 acre town conservation land which eventually leads to a 1450 acre state park.

Nice infiniti combo! I wanted the 1999 VR-4 3000GT instead of the G, but couldnt find one with low low miles, happy I didnt cuz that would have been a mistake.

DarthStimpy,
You may have already done this but how about giving us some comparative thoughts on your different rides?

Thanks,
Wayno-san

No problem.

1997 3000GT VR4 (upgrades to the tune of 450+awhp on pump gas)
VERY STRONG Puller, but the weight made it a dog in the corners. Tended to understeer a lot. I never lost a "stop light" race. 0-60 around 3 seconds.
A notchy, but not un-pleasent shifter with crazy clutch.

2005 Subaru WRX STi. A nimble and quick car. You have to wring it out to get it moving, and the turbo lag is very noticable with not as much return as I'd like. (needs a bigger turbo). Handling is CRAZY. I've never driven a car that was so easy to drive so hard and fast. And I've driven exotics. The ride is stiff as you would imagine, and it's a bit cramped. I call it a 4 door coupe.
I have the factory Short throw shifter so the shifts are like a light switch. And the pedals are all well positioned for easy heel-toe-ing.

2004 Infiniti FX35. Surprisingly strong engine, the Auto trans is fine in auto mode, but the "manual mode" is useless. Super smooth ride and nice seats in the rear.

2005 Infiniti G35c. An ok engine at best.. I'm surprised that this is the same engine in the FX, it doesn't seem to have the pull that the FX has, although this car is faster. It handles VERY well and i've already gotten my self sideways a few times . Second to the STi of course but leaps and bounds over the 3000GT. The interior is Very nice and comfortable and makes a perfect daily driver just needs another 100hp or so. It feels much more roomie than either STi or the 3000GT. The clutch pedal engages a bit high for my taste, but I've gotten used to it. And the shifter seems smooth enough.

1995 Ford F150, 4.9L I6. It's a POS that I used to haul garbage and plywood.
