fluids

has anybody used the fram DG (double guard) oil filter on their coupes, I bought one today and am about to do the synthetic change, also has anybody used STP oil treatment or fuel treatment? I have used it on previous cars with no problems.

Re: fluids

I haven't used the Fram D/G yet. It hasn't been available at my local parts supply. What's the Fram part # ? Thanks.
I use Z-max additives and believe it contributes to my decent gas mileage.
I don't like STP because it's so thick. It may be good for older engines, but not a new VQ.......JMHO
STP gas treatment should be ok about every 4-5k miles.

Re: fluids

Infiniti does not recommend using oil additives or a fuel cleaner for the engines. I don't use oil additives but I do use Red Line fuel cleaner since they use detergents rather than solvents. Just my .02.
