+1

I know a couple of girls with TTs and they have had nothing but trouble with them.

If reliability is not an issue...........get the Audi!

Wouldn't the g35x be a better comparison? 4 doors, AWD, still a G?

Or am I missing something?

the onboard computer would consistently show 500+ miles till empty from one tank of gas

Yea, I'm getting about 18-20 mpg. His A4 gets like 16 mpg's...or I thought it did. I just checked out a website that says the A4 1.8T gets 23 city-33 highways.

I guess he did some modifications I didn't know about that was causing his MPG's to suffer

Not a g

G35 sedan just arent G35's to me. They lack the style and appeal the coupe has.

I own both. Actually I had two 2002 A4s before I traded one for the G. I traded it because when things would break down they broke down in pairs. out of warranty that would suck, alas I bought the G.

My milage with a 5 speed A4 was 30mpg, and the auto gets 23. My G gets 20. Buy proper tires for the season/climate and there is no reason to not buy a G. I still love the audis but I hate the service dept.

your lucky if you get 18 on the G If you have a heavy foot like me i tend to get 15 or 16 mpg

Armani350GT 08-27-2005 02:37 AM

I thought about it before I bought my G sedan 3 yeras ago but glad I didn't. My client's brand new A4 broke down in second month. She had it towed to the dealer.

G35

Pros:

-Gorgeous and the women love it. - Guys love it, too
-More horsepower and more fun
-Easily modded - not cheaply though...

A4

-AWD of course - G35x
-Better MPG - true
-4 doors, capable of seating 5 - G35

If I were you, I'd get a G35x. It looks just like a coupe from the front anyways.

Both cars look fabulous, esp the new 05 design for the A4/S4,, the thing with the G35 theres to many of them, i hardly see any audis roaming the street. But what can you say, g35 is the best bang for your buck. but a4's aren't as common. but go with what you like best

Dave E H 08-27-2005 05:04 PM

if you want easy to mod, gettng an A4 2.0T is a good way to go. chip it and get easy hp boost.

MikeyMike 08-27-2005 05:23 PM

You don't consider the g35 sedan...a g35?? Are you ignorant or something?
The first g35 to come out was a sedan. The coupe is nicer, but the sedan is more practical, and they are practically the same car.

As far as MPG...if I drive conservative with a new oil change I can get 18-20

If I'm driving more spirited, and my air filter is dirty (like it is right now) I get like 13-17
