You certainly are brave driving your G in the blizzard w/o winter tires. When I bought my 04 WRX it came with summer only Pirelli P6000's. One minor snowfall and an ntimate encounter with a curb later, I learned that summer only tires are really only for summer.

I work at a collision center for a dealership and the guys in the recon dept keep my car clean for me (it amazing what buying lunch and/or a few sodas will do) so salt is not a bid deal. As you know we had a ton of snow last year in the northeast. I think I may start with buying the Blizzaks, if it is really that bad I can always buy a beater then.
