Hey everyone. Just bought an '05 coupe (AT) and this is my first time on the forum. Lots of good stuff here. I have a question though. On the front cupholder located in the console between the seats, there is a spring loaded flip down piece that's supposed to hold smaller cans and bottles in place. Mine doesn't lock down and keeps springing up, allowing water bottles to fall over. Is this "normal?"

it does not lock down.

 

Yeah its not suppose to lock or anything, just a spring that goes up and down

 

Your water bottles must be empty...that thing isn't THAT strong...
