Red face Is my Infiniti Dealership F*kin with me?

So my infinti dealership (infinti of santa monica) is right next to my school and my 2nd service is coming up... so instead of calling like a normal human being i go down there to check out their showroom and see whats going on with the 06 g35's. When i get there at 4:55pm theres almost no 1 there... I go to the service desk and they tell me there was a problem with 1 of the compressors and everyone went home... as if that makes any sence to me... so i ask if i can make an appointment for my 2nd servicing and the receptionist tells me the girl who makes the appointments has left for the day as well? At the same time im having a problem with my seat, everytime i brake or accelerate the chair pushes back or comes forward a few inches... i think the bottom of the seat has a loose screw of some sort? Ive called them twice now and everyday ive asked them to come in for them to fix my seat and to service my car they are busy? Is it me or is somthing definitly wrong with this dealership.

Btw... the receptionist told me they wouldnt give me a loaner because im 20. I was kind of upset with her regarding this as well. I bought my car straight out for 40k dollars and this girl is giving me greif because my birthday is 4 months away. She told me to "get 1 of my school buddies" to drive me. I was kind of offended...

Ny1 think this is weird or have a similar problem with their own dealership or are these people just freaking messed up.

I had to get my tire sensors replaced twice, and both times my dealership issued me a loaner right away. All they needed was my signature and a copy of my liscence. Once when I was 19, and a few months ago (20 now).

The loaner contract strictly says that they can't loan a vehicle to anyone under 21 (insurance purposes). I don't think they are f*cking with you there.

I went in for my service for my FX45 in February, when I was only 19 years old, and they were able to give me a loaner. I asked them a couple of times and made them aware of me not being 21 and they continued to say that everything is "legal". I checked with my insurance company and they said that my insurance would also cover any accidents *touch wood*. I think you just have to make an early appointment and demand that you need a loaner. They definetly should get you one especially since you bought the car from them. Good luck.

The whole problem with this is that these people gave me a bit 2 much attitude and when i insisted they had already given me a loaner, she called it a mistake that would not repeat, it was offensive... i mean i payed cash up front for my car and these people treat me like **** because of the #'s on my drivers license? I called my insurance guy who is a family friend and asked him about insurance on a loaner... he told me that i was covered so whats the big deal? what exactly does the law have against 18-20 year olds driving these kinds of cars? If anything happens im assuming im responsible and not the dealership? am i wrong for thinking this?

a lot of people said santa monica infiniti is a fawked up dealorship... do a search on this forum..

IMO, i think most of the infiniti dealorships in LA area are fawked up. The service is so bad that I would not want to get another infiniti...unless I can find a trustable third party nissan/infiniti certified body shop

The problem with the seat is a known issue. The dealership should fix it under warranty. Print out the TSB and push it in their faces.

Heres the link to the TSB:
