Playing MP3s in the 2005 G35C
I understand the 2005 stock head unit has the capability to read MP3s. However, I was wondering how the screen displays the tracks. If I have three folders, each with 20 songs in them, will it:
a. Allow me to navigate folders, or
b. Force me to navigate 60 tracks
Thanks

Yeah, it plays folders like they are separate CDs. You can change to different folders by holding the track up/down button. It can display any one of the following: Folder Name, File Name, Artist, Song and maybe Album (I forget right now). Oh, and for files on the root it displays...you guessed it "Root" as the folder name. Oh, it will only play the Artist, Song info if it's encoded in the MP3/WMA file.
I just made a couple CDs with similar genre songs all in the root. Set it to random and you've got your own radio station with 100+ songs and no comercials. Cool.
