Also on my test drive today I got to play with the nav system. I have to say I like it a lot. I thought the voice playback was cool. Especially since they made it a female. Question is is there a way to lower the voice playback volume? She talks REALLY loud.

 

Yes, there is a setting to adjust the voice volume to whatever you like.

Have you guys noticed phone number lookup is useless LOL

i put in 50 numbers in there and it said "not in database"
except for my infiniti dealer

You need to press... um, I think it's the "Settings" button, I can't remember without looking at my car. Make sure you're not set to Short Menus, which is the default (you'll also want the bird's eye map view rather than the default flat map). If it isn't already there, the next time you hit it there should be a bar at the bottom where you can raise or lower the Nav voice. I recommend the lowest setting (it'll still be very loud the first time she says "Now commencing route guidance to your destination" or something like that).

By the way, the French navigator sounds much cuter.
