Smile Just installed OEM Chin Spoiler (with pics)...

Easy install with patience, it and the GroundingGear install took about two hours in the garage. I think that both were worth it.

How difficult was the install? Did you need to jack up the front? Was there any drilling necessary?

Looks great BTW

Install was not that bad. The instructions were so so but for the most part the install is straight forward. You do have to drill some - four (big) holes in the front of the bumper, two small holes in the wheelwell/bumper and eight (big) holes in the underside of the bumper - so don't change your mind half way through. Supposedly there are templates that come with the kit but mine did not and when I asked for instructions and templated from the guys I ordered from they emailed instructions but ignored the template part.

No worries though, if you eyeball it and are careful you don't need no stinkin' templates.

Very nice. It does complete the front end for sure. I wish they had one for the '05 Sedan just like it.

Great job . . . It really completes the total look of your G. The front lip is next on my want list. Hey, you swapped out your wheels for the OEM 19"'s, eh? Looks sweeet!

Ordered the lip from EverythingG35 - they were about a $100 cheaper than Grubbs with shipping.

19's are stock with the sport package.

same here, just installed it. IMO it gives the car a much more aggresive look. other aftermarket lips look even better they cost much more, plus the OEM comes painted, +1

I agree that it does give the G a better look... then again I have one.

I notice most owners here have one bought theirs from different stores. When I bought my G, I also purchased from the dealer the chin spoiler and had the installation done by them... I guess that way if there was anything wrong it would of been on them.

Off course again I could of save a bunch of $$$ by getting mine from some other source and doing the install myself. But the sight of me taking a drill to my brand new G would of been too traumatic for me... so I opted to have someone else do it (without me being present to see).

Diffinently a recommeded add on.

As for the sedan's there is a chin spoiler for them too. I saw a few new G sedans with them on just last weekend.
