Aero Kit

Aero Package
• Rear spoiler.
• Rear side air diffusers.
$474 Invoce price according to Edmunds.com

Aerodynamic Body Kit
• Front Bumper Chin Spoiler
• Aero body splash guards
$530 Invoce price according to Edmunds.com

Aerodynamic Body Kit (With Spoiler)
• Accessory Rear Spoiler
• 2 Under Body Diffusers
• 2 Under Covers
• Front Bumper Chin Spoiler
• Aero body splash guards

Trying to buy a G and got a question about aero kit

above is the detail from infiniti.com so I assume that it is 100% correct and

legit.

I have searched the forum and found a lot of threads saying that Aero Body

Kit ($530) + Aero Package ($474) = Aero Body Kit W/ spoiler

But it doesn't seem to add up. Because Aero Package + Aero Body Kit would

leave out 2 under covers and 2 under diffusers. Even if I assume Rear Side

diffusers from Aero Package is exactly same as 2 under diffusers from Aero

Body Kit w/ spoiler (I reckon it rear side diffusers and 2 under diffusers are

totally diffrent one but let's assume). There is still missing 2 under covers.

So How do get a Aero parts that do not have spoiler from Aero Body Kit w/

spoiler ($965)? It seems an impossible combination from G35 Coupe 6MT with

options. I guess I have to get base G35 with Aero Body Kit ($530) and let

dealer install 4 pieces of under covers and under diffuser. Am I missing or

misinterpret anything here? Let me know

Aero kit w/o Spoiler + Aero package = Aero kit with Spoiler (includes 2 rear underbody diffusers that come with the Aero package). I have never heard of the other 2 undercovers you're talking about, lol. The only Gs that don't have the underbody diffusers are those who don't come with the Aero package from the factory (port/dealer installed, they have a 3rd brake light on the back window). So no worries, you're not missing anything. Honestly, the underbody diffusers will make NO difference whatsoever, unless you're traveling at 150mph...

the best package is to get the aero package and the aero kit w/o rear spoiler. This combo will come without the 3rd brake light because it the aero package will be factory installed. The aero kit w/o rear spoiler will be port installed.

If I were you, I would go aftermarket for the rear spoiler. It's a little more unique.

Well Finiti35... I directly copy that from Infiniti website's build and options. Go to build and options and try to build it G35 Coupe from there and when you get to option menu to choose what options you would like, just click Aerodynamic Body Kit (with Spoiler) and it will pop a little window with the detail. Everything is exactly from Infiniti's words not a single character more... Any more answers? Just click here to check it out

Yes they are the same thing. The only way I can explain why there are 2 under covers missing is because Infiniti is using different language to describe the aero package that leaves out the under covers. If you open the 05 brochure, it says

Aero package
- Rear spoiler
- Rear underbody air diffusers

It doesn't call them rear side diffusers.. Those 2 covers probably cover the diffusers and the website doesn't mention it or something. The only thing the Aerodynamic body kit adds to the Aero package is the front lip and the splash guards, everything else (rear spoiler, 2 underbody diffusers) are already included with the Aero package. Hope that makes it a little more clear.
