GTR Sighting?
Nissan USA has a car called the GTR, with tailights that look like the old SKyline. To get there hit Nissan usa .com to vehicles, then hit the shift button. They will show about twelve pictures hit the one that says future, tell me what you think.
. It'll probably compete with the M3's.

but .. I'm really hopin the g35 the front fenders as I love the slopey porsche like fenders it has now instead of those RX8 sorta lookin ones
that would suck
if it 400 horse awd .. it'll hang let alone possibly beat a Z06 ... POSSIBLY
many variables I KNOW but awd .. always helps a win.

It is the concept GTR... The car is utilizing the same FM engine placement and similar chassis to the g35c/350z. As you can see, the car resembles the g35c, evident by the pillars, doors and window similarities.
I've read various rumors that the new R35 GTR will use a VQ35DETT, or maybe a VQ33DETT (a mixed variation of stroke/bore from the maxima vq30de and the g35 vq35de). Nismo and another company has been testing the new VQ twin turbo engine in the Japanese Grand Touring Cup (JGTC). The engine has provided better lap times, since the engine was much lighter progressing a more balanced car in the long run. The GTR has been a powerful car, primarily from its brute force RB26DETT.. yet, the porky stance could NOT hang with many other semi-exotic imports. The TT variation of the VQ is worthy enough in the almighty skyline series.
why did i acquire a g35c? because of the new GTR.

That car is what our car is based off of. If you look at the profile of the R35 and the G35 you would see a striking resemblence. Also the taillights on the G and the R are the same concept. Here's a little more info on the car http://www.supercars.net/cars/2001@$...0Conceptg.html
There are a lot of design cues that transfer over from r to g.
Personally I think the R is ugly as hell but thats my opinion
