Thumbs down Car Robbed: Nav DVD!

What a great way to come back from vacation. I guess I forgot to lock my car in a rush to leave only to return and find the following things missing from my car:

1) Navigation CD
2) Navigation Manual
3) CD Case and a few CDs I didn't care about
4) My prized $5 Aviators!

No damage to the car, and they didn't try to mess with the radio/nav/DVD unit - they even left my sunshade. I guess I can't be too upset for a lapse in judgement leaving my car unlocked . . . I guess I just didn't think there was a big risk living in suburbia.

Sorry just had to vent . . . anyone care to burn me a new Nav DVD I will pay you rather than have to drive up to the infiniti dealership 1 hour away.

I know, which leads me to beleive this could be a joke. I have a friend who has it out for me ever since I screwed a "Go Wolverines" licence plate on her car. . . she's from Ohio State.

you can buy back the Navi DVD on eBay probably :O

Or you may want to buy an updated one, they usually release them every year with updated maps/database.

You know I don't think so. It never has in the past I wondered why i kept reading posts about it . . . didn't complain up to this point because of all the stories I heard about people disliking the feature and locking their keys in their car.

I think it only autolocks if you unlock the car but don't open a door for a minute.

You can get a replacement Navigation CD here: http://www.zenrin.com/home.asp?bodylink=navSoft.html I don't know how much it cost though.

Atleast they didn't trash it..... no interior damage, that is very lucky.

Usually they will try to take the car and sell off the whole thing for parts.

Though they probably couldn't start the car anyway because they couldn't get past the ignition chip for the starter, but usually they will try and rip out the dash and steering console in an effort to start it up.

Anyway, glad to hear no damage was done to your G.... and all you lost was a few replacables.
