1. how can i disable the safety feature of not allowing the gps to work while the car is in motion?
2. how can i disable to the "I AGREE/english" screen when the gps starts up?
3. if i pull out the DVD-rom for hte gps..will it lose my address book? where does the address book get stored?

#2 can't be done. I'm pretty sure #1 can't be done either, certainly not easily. I don't actually have the nav, but i've seen some posts on these issues. You might want to try doing a search, as they have probably been discussed before.

So far from what I've read no one has sucessfully disable the Nav's safety feature. Before I had an Alpine CVA 1005 and I bought a device that tricked the unit the brakes where engaged and the emergency brakes was on.

Unfortunatley I don't think there will much of a demand for someone to produce one for the G. If they did, I would get one.

Not sure where the address book it, probably stored in the GPS/DVD unit.
