How do you modify a battery cover? Better yet, why would you want to modify one?

Well when there's a GB and you get them for 20+% off... Grubbs sells the modified covers. Gary told me that he personally does the modifications.

With any modified battery cover there will still be some drilling that you'll have to do on your own car from what I've been told. I'm sure there's a DIY somewhere if you just search for it...

I know the lil mod to the car but what mods are need for the cover to fit? I plan to get one but been holding off since idk what i need to mod on the cover. I 'm getting mine from Perfirmance Nissan since its 10 mins from my pad (and i believe theirs isnt modded).

 

What does the modified cover look like? I have one and there was no problem with the install or the look.

 

I have a chrome plated one that has in red reflective letters on the top of it "PIMP MAH R1DE"
