I bet you didn't plug the Mass air flow sensor back in.

Did you use a manual to install the intake? Go back over it with a fine tooth comb.

did you install your intake or did someone else ....

for someone not to know what the ac line is and not know how to disconnect a battery is in trouble ... get to know your car a little better ...

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but the intake that you put in has the air filter at the lower bumper opening. If you go through a big puddle, won't it suck the water into the engine... then you'd be screwed. Is the air that much colder down there than at the grill opening to risk this?

Hey savefatkids - hope this helps - seems like sometimes it's hard to get answers here and that's because most stuff has already been explained so it helps to do a very good search! But with your intake I'm glad you got it to work - but you should still do the ecu reset. Everytime you add a mod you should reset - you should notice a difference. Do a search for ecu or battery disconnect and you'll see why and how. It takes most people a few times to get the timing down correctly. check out that pic to save your a/c line and you might want to think about covering your cone a little so not much water can get to it. Good luck

You can get an AEM Air Bypass Valve to prevent hydrolocking

http://www.aempower.com/product_intake.asp?subCatID=3

but you have to have the filter totally submerged in water in order for that to happen but a little water here and there is fine.
