While at HIN last week I mistakenly signed up at the carsponsorships.com table. They emailed me back today before I did any research on them. They said: "I briefly talked to you at the H.I.N. Car Show in Atlantic City. I submitted your application to a few of our companies last week and I just received word from a national car company this morning who is interested in offering you a full sponsorship. However, this particular company has a few other questions to ask about you, your car and about your future car plans/ideas before they can make a final decision. For your convenience, I have set up a web page for you to answer these questions. Please go to https://www.carsponsorships.com/hoti...ponsorship.php and answer the questions to the best of your ability.
Remember, we are here to help you get sponsored, so I will review your answers prior to submitting them to the sponsor and contact you if I feel there are some changes we should make. I told them that I will have the answers to them by early tomorrow afternoon so please submit them as soon as possible."
I got home a did some research thinking this was too good to be true and found out I was right, so I emailed the guy back: "I just did a search on the internet and found a bunch of sites that said carsponsorships.com is a scam. If I sign up I get some coupons for some vinyl and lose my $89, is this true?"
I can't wait to see what the response is.

They work the same way Job Placement centers work. You are not guaranteed the sponsorship, but with your payment, they keep your car's resume on file for any potential sponsors with a match for what they are looking for...if there is a potential match, they try to set you up with the sponsor by telling you what the sponsor is looking for (thus changing answers to certain questions to make you more appealing to the sponsor and increase your chances of getting sponsored).
