tint problem!

i got my titanium tint a week ago from auto sound & tint of upland in socal and the second day it was bubley..and i called him he said its normal and that it should go away in a week as long as its in the sun.. couldnt really park it in the sun for that time but its been a week and its still not better and i called again and he said give it another 2 wereks itll be fine if its not just come back nd ill fix it i have a lifetime warranty he said the film he used is really thick(solarguard) so it takes a while is this guy bs'ing me or is this really true? becasue i feeel like its bs

Sounds like BS. It should never bubble.

Yeah, I have solarguard on my windows too. It looked really bubbly the first couple days but settled in real nice after that. But two weeks?! You should definitely take it back.

I just got solarguard put on my coupe yesterday. There are still some foggy areas that need to dry out, but I wouldn't call them bubbles. I also had solarguard on my previous 2 cars, and the longest it took for them to dry completely was about 3 weeks; however, that was put on in December.

Give is another week or so, and if the bubbles are still there, have them redo the tint on that window.

100% sure that they wont heal. I had same problem, if bubbles stay longer than 2 days, your screwed.

i went to another tint place today and they told me that its fine and the film that they used is really thick.. i havent been able to park my car in the sun lately..that might be the problem under the tree at school and in the garage at home

It may be water under the tint It should be complety dry after a week or two. If not you may have a problem.
