Sup everyone. I think I have a problem with my 05 Coupe 6MT. I've had for almost 3 months now, with 4700 miles. I've been noticing rattleing coming from the engine bay when i accelerate from a stop. it does not happen every single time so i know its not normal. it happens quite often tho. it happens in first to second, second to third.. and sometimes 3rd to 4th. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this same problem? or is this normal? i also hear it when i turn off my engine. sounds like something is loose.

I also have another concern. this is about a high pitch whining noise whenever i lift my foot off the throttle. i took it to the dealer and they said that it is normal for a manual transmission. it doesn't happen when the engine is cold in the morning. has anyone noticed this?

I have the same problem. I took it to the dealership but it wasn't doing it when they took it out fo rthe test drive. I still don't know but my car still makes that dam rattling noise. It bothers me a lot and i want it fixed but some people on the forum said it was normal. I have no idea though. =/

 

i have the same damn problem too, a buddy of mine heard it and said it was the tranny bearing...........i dont know what the hell or where it was so i aint messing with it, but could that be the problem maybe, just need to be tighten or something

 

Yea... it is really annoying. I gonna try to schedule an appointment this weekend and see what they say.
