G35C Car cover?

Does anyone have the Infiniti car cover for their coupe? I got one with my car and it seems really cheap. It doesn't seem like it would repell moisture at all. The fact that it was over $300 is also an issue.

Re: G35C Car cover?

I also purchased a car cover for my G35 Coupe. I was actually able to pick it up for dealer cost because I guess things were slow at the dealer or something.

Anyways, the car cover does a good job of keeping moisture (and heat) out of the car. I used it every time I got in and out of my car (because I didn't have a covered parking spot.) Right now I have a covered parking spot so I use it selectively. It definitely keeps out the moisture.

Believe me, car covers are always worth it. The girl who used to park next to my roommate scratched the (censored) out of his passenger side front door. A lot of people don't care about anyone else's car, so if you have any doubts about the safety of your paint job, use that cover!

I would get a car cover from California Car Covers http://www.calcarcover.com/default.asp?flash=1

They fit perfectly. Get what you can afford. I probably would get the noah ($159). The superweave are good to and thinner so it doesn't take to much trunk space, but it also cost alot more.

Can everyone who has a car cover post what kind it is, how much it costs, and where you bought it (website links if possible).
I really need to get a car cover being that I park outside, no cover, and my mom has cats. She will be pi$$ed when I kill them all because they scratched my car. ;-)

Re: G35C Car cover?

I've had the Infiniti cover for almost 2 months now and very happy. I use it every day while I'm at work. Takes about 2-3 minutes to install and lock up. When it rains it repels water quite well and actually forms a puddle on the trunk between the spoiler and the window. Paid about $200-$220 can't remember. DFW infiniti sells them for about that so I went to my dealer and asked if they would match and they did.

You put a car cover at work? Are you the only guy with a car cover in the parking lot? Wow, I am impressed bro. Granted, I don't drive my car to work when it rains, but I've never seen anyone with a car cover at work. You are a real fanatic!

There's a few others that cover there's also. I figure 8-10 hours of Florida sun on black paint can take a toll in the long run.

Re: G35C Car cover?

I also put my car cover on at work when I'm not parked in a covered area.

Actually, I have had the honor and distinction of being the ONLY person to use a car cover in a parking structure which holds easily over 600 cars.

I bought my cover from Cerritos Infiniti in Southern California. It was $160 or so, but like I mentioned before, I got it at cost because things were slow and they needed to keep sales volume up in parts.

Re: G35C Car cover?

I also have the Infiniti car cover, but don't use it that much because IMHO its a b*tch to put on. How do you guys who use it everyday, do it by yourselves?

Also, i am worried that since the material needs to be stretched over the paint, that if there's dust on the car, this might cause scratching. Has anybody noticed scratches where the car cover rubs?

Re: G35C Car cover?

You guys in the States are getting soaked. Up in Canada they throw the cover in for free. Check out www.infiniti.ca for pricing, keep in mind its 25 cents on the dollar.
