TO ALL G35C OWNERS, I HAVE A MAJOR ISSUE, I ONLY HAVE MY NEW COUPE FOR 8 DAYS AND FOUND OUT THAT ON THE DRIVER SEAT BOLSTER AREA HAS A 1 1/2" INCH REPAIR ON THE LEATHER. I SELL LEATHER SOFAS FOR A LIVING SO I KNOW THAT THIS LEATHER SEAT SHOULD NOT HAVE PASS QUALITY CONTROL. THIS REPAIR IS VERY OBVIOUS. IF IT WAS ON THE BACK SEAT, I WOULD NOT MIND. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK I SHOULD DO, SHOULD I HAVE WARRANTY REPLACE A NEW SEAT OR SHOULD I JUST FORGET ABOUT IT. IT INFACT IT IS QUITE NOTICEABLE. IT IS JUST MY LUCK. I PAID 36655 FOR IT, I KNOW FOR A CAR LIKE THIS IS A BARGIN BUT QUALITY IS IMPORTANT TOO. THANK YOU ALL IN ADVANCE.

 

i would take it back to the dealer but dont be half @$$ about it. If you dont come out strong they will take adavtige of u and u will never get it fixed. But its ur call if it bug u that much i would say go for it but if u can live with it then it ur call.

 

Tell them you're not happy with the quality and you will reflect that on your survey. THAT will get their attention! [img]/w3timages/icons/laugh.gif[/img]

dude, go back there and have them order a new seat for you, then drive your G while its being shipped, and come back to get it installed when it arrives

yeah seriously, I've noticed the dealers so concern about the survey. After my g35 was in for the window problem which took forever, the salesman says, so your not gonna bash me too bad on that survey are you, it will kind of affect me..

My salesman was the same way. Wanted to make sure he did everything possible to make sure I was satisfied, so I put "excellent" for all the responses. Found out he didn't work there anymore, 2 days after he sold me my car, so I didn't bother filling it out.
