Just Got Mine
Just Got Mine
I just picked up my coupe Diamond Graphite w/graphite interior, automatic...love it. I do have a couple of questions.
Should the headliner be willow? Looks kind of funky.
What's up with the center console for the back seat? It's like a cheap cover. Is there an arm rest available?

Re: Just Got Mine
Hello: congrats on your fine purhase, very good taste in the color...hehehe i got the same.
the willow headliner and on the pillars do lQQk lil out of the place, and it get dirty quick, after i got my car back today from installing the stereo the A-pillar have dirty finger prints all over it. but if its all black, it might be too dark and very monotone.
it would be nice if center console in the back can be rise up, but i certanily would not be sitting in the back, so it dont bother me as much.
have fun GGGGGing...s.w.

Re: Just Got Mine
The headliners are all "willow" or off-white, yes. Never registered on my radar screen as a negative though, for whatever that's worth.
Yes, the center console cover between the rear seats is THE cheesiest interior piece in the entire car without a doubt. I put the first aid kit inside it (it fits, barely), which for some reason alleviates the cheese factor a little bit in my mind. Maybe because the lid is so easy to pull open.
In the better news department, I was taking my brother and his son and a friend to an amusement park a few weeks ago while I was putting break-in miles on the car, and the boys had a laptop computer in the back they were playing games on during the drive. My nephew has a mouse he likes to use with it instead of its touchpad, and was using the console cover as a mousepad, which was the perfect size and surface texture for the job! Who'da thunk...
