My local newspaper had an article on this, we were number 6 out of 10 for best resale. we keep about 63% value over 4 years.

i dont think so, 03-04 are droping the price becuase 05 has better interior and a bit more hp, and 05 are/will drop price becuase 06 has more feature 06 will drop price becuase 07 will be a new design ..
seems like infiniti do a facelift almost every year, so i really doubt it can hold it's value good..

The 6MTs seem to hold their value a little better than the autos.. I guess its because they are rarer.. i think it was something like 10 percent of g35c's were manual. And in 05, the 6MTs are the only model to get the 298 hp... So the 05 and above may hold their value a bit better. all bets are off when the 07 comes out.. I bet the value drops like a rock..

I think you can make a strong case that the G35C with a manual holds its value better than any other car or at least is equal with the best. If you compare the G to the leaders in value retention like the M3 and 997, you'll find that it's tough to get a big % discount on those cars, especially the M. So when a car's depreciation is determined, the average selling price is subtracted from the original MSRP. Many of us were able to negotiate significant % discounts on our Gs which means that we are retaining more than the listed 63% over four years, provided of course that we are able to sell our cars for at least the average selling price.
