lug nut ?

On my coupe, 4 lugs are the normal ones and one is different on each wheel. It has a star pattern, is completely round, and has a circular cutout on the top face. How do I get this thing off? Probably a stupid question btw...

are you talking about a wheel lock. if so, you will need the key. check the glove compartment.

It's called a locking lug nut. There should be a key strapped to the lug wrench in the trunk.

Thanks. Are locking lug nuts standard on 05s, because I didn't have them on my 03 coupe?

It's a dealer installed option.

you'll need a flat head screw driver, hammer, and some gunpowder

the key should be in your trunk. If it's not you can remove it. It will require a size 17 socket, a big hammer, air impact gun, air tank, and insurance on your wheels.

I guess I could just use a couple rounds of 2.75" slugs. I've got plenty to spare.

If they're Nissan locks, your dealer should have the master key or at least find you the correct one. I have a key just laying around cuz some guy gave me the wrong locks. Check with the dealer first, if not, I could mail them to you.

Have you checked in your trunk on top of the spare tire? That's where I found mine.
