Hey people,

Got my ride this weekend!!! Just wanted to ask from people that got the clear bra applied or are thinking about getting it a few questions.

1) What really is the clear bra? ( I know there is a ton of messages on this board, can anyone send me a link.)

2) How much did yall pay for it and was it worth it?

3) Where is the best place to get it applied? (Dealer or private, I am in Houston.)

Thanks for your help!!

Re: Clear Bra question
Scooby,

I would recommend having the product installed by a traiend installer. There is a good one in Houston.

The clear bra is usually speaking made from 3M. It is a 6mil uerthane film called ScotchCal that will bend and twist to compound curves of car. Most times the product is pre-cut to fit your car.

The price can really vary depending on your marketplace and what you choose to cover or not to cover.

A full kit whioch would include the hood, fenders, bumper, mirrors should around $322 plus $250 for the labor. So a little under $600. You can check out the kits I am talking about at www.rockblocker.com.

Re: Clear Bra question
I also have another recommendation for you.

Check out the XPEL kits. There is a local installer, Steve Perez, who can give you a quote. His info is on their site too.
