How far do you commute???
 

Out of curiosity, how long (miles) does everyone here commute per day (or per week) roundtrip, assuming everyone drives their G to work?? I drive about 90miles/day and I sometimes feel sorry for myself for driving so much, specially on my G and w/ gas prices high :( !

By the way, Jersey roads suck...specially as you get closer to NYC!! Too many po-pos, moran drivers, and potholes!

25 miles to school
25 miles back
15 miles to work
15 miles back
+whatever else =(

most days-55miles round trip
work+college days(masters)-90 miles
weekends-100+ day running around
no regrets...

Some 28 miles to work and back. The weekends are a totally different story. 7250 miles in about 4 months and having a blast.

it used to be 30 miles to work and back.. now my weekday commute is nil while i'm studying for my real estate exam.. but on weekends, it's 300+ miles easy on my trecks to see my girl..

i'm at one year and 10 months and i've racked up 48K.. not the most efficient daily driver, but definitely a fun one :)

~120+ miles daily... NY to CT (~60 miles each way)...

20 miles to school.. 20 miles to work.. 20 miles back home. So 60 a day. Ive had my car for...22 months and i have 30k miles.

20 round trip for work. usually about 400 miles a week. Graduate School, Softball, and just driving because I love to.

5 days a week to work 34 miles roundtrip.

20 miles roundtrip, but takes on an average 30-45 minutes each way, so lot of gas usage for such a short distance.

64 miles a day for work+ weekend (40-50)...so about 100-110 a week. But ofcourse the work part is taken care of by my beater.

80 miles a day roundtrip. My wife's is about 70 miles a day roundtrip.

Don't feel so bad man. I drive 45 miles to work, and then another 45 back. So yea... I average about 50 bucks every 4 days? :( it's a kick to the nuts, but I just bought a Honda, so i'll be using that as my daily, and the G for special events/going out.

10 steps from bedroom to office.... I work from home =)

But I've had the car for 4 months now and have racked up 5000 miles.

too many, so cal traffic is not friendly for manual cars =(
