different takes on pic of my G.
Boring rainy saturday night so I thought I'd do some photoshopping of a pic i took the other day...tell me what you guys think. just recently been getting into photography and photoshop so be easy on me.
- the first pic is straight from the camera
- the second pic is with some color alterations and rain drop artifact removal, minor cropping, and the homemade G reflection on the ground from the rain, which i thought should be there
- the third is the rendered second pic with a lighting effect.
let me know what you think,
Andrew

The "texture" of the paint in the 2nd chopped pic doesn't match the rest of the picture, so it pops out at you as being fake. The 3rd really doesn't say anything. What are you trying to accomplish with that effect?
The third one is very tacky as far as PS goes. And that reflection is a little too unrealistic. Just keep it simple!
Bored at work. Heres my take on it: (with tint)

The problem with your reflection is that a real reflection would come off the water on the pavement, which is above the paint on the pavement. The white line would be partly obsured by the car. That, and your angle is off and all pavement is a little bumpy so it wouldnt be so consistent.
3rd photo- the lights are on the wall, and your car is in front of the wall, so they wouldnt be shining on your drivers side door. Stay away from the Renderings filters.
Nice try for a beginner though. Try using photographs instead of logic as references for realistic photos - our minds are often too linear to comprehend all the ups and downs of imagery.
