06 seat belt loop

The 06 has a loop next to the head rest. Is this something we can attach on the 05 coupes? I hate the seat belt now, it's always on my neck!!

Skylar--the guy with the first '06 on the boards--said it looked like it was just screwed into the seat, but that there was something hard in there that it was screwed to. Don't know if it would be possible without ripping open your seat, but I'd love to do it too when I get my '05.

That is still gonna be at your neck. All that does is make it easier to reach the seatbelt

I hate how the seat belt is always getting shut in the door and getting stuck behind the seat.

from the pic....looks like that loop has a thin cut to let the seatbelt slide in and out when you have rear passengers so its not in the way.....

I personally think that's more of a hassle then our seatbelt things right now... Just a bit more care is needed when closing the door and such. Not too big of a deal?

i 2nd that notion! the '06 seatbelt loop still looks like it could be a hassle when passengers go in and out of the rear. and its still neck high, so it doesnt really solve that issue either. just hav to live w/ it....
i personally hav no problems w/ the current set-up on my '05

I know this is a little off topic from the seat belt holder in the 06 issue. But the arm thing that holds the seat belt in my 05 rubs against my seat and causes a squeeking noise. Since that part is almost next to my left ear, I can notice it quite clearly. Have any of you guys experienced this same problem? And if so, how did you fix it? I'm also a little concerned about that part wearing out the leather in that spot as it is resting on the seat at all times and rubbing when the car is moving.

how often do you have people sit in the rear??

Rarely do people sit in teh back of my car, so it's not realy a hassle at all.

And the person can alway just lift the seatbelt up it looks like.
