I usually fill up with like 17.5. My light apparently comes on with like 5 gallons left
(a gas light should not come on with a 1/4 tank left). I mean, I have taken her waaaaaaaay below the "E" and waaaaaaaaay waaaaaaaaay beyond the Navi "distance to empty" and thought I was on fumes and still only filled up ~19.
I get about 13 miles per gallon in the city.
And yes...my tips are solid black. No chrome or silver of any kind showing anymore. I havent cleaned them b/c 1) it'll be fruitless and 2) I am probably getting the Invidia dual exhaust one of these days.

I floor my car almost daily!!! is that wrong? hahahaha
I actually dont drive too fast (top speeds) but i do take back roads at a quick pace, and usually accellerate out of stoplights and stopsigns quickly (as in reving to 4500-5000)
Hitting Redline? Ehhh....maybe once/twice a month...

I floor it every night when I am dreaming about driving a G35c. During the day, not so much -- saves me a lot of gas.
And besides I have read in the The New England Journal of Medicine that flooring the g35 is good for your heart :-) haha

HAAHAHAH. My 05 AT redline is still 6800 I think but got the bump to 7100. But...thats just when the gas cuts off. Inertia of the motor reads out higher. I have seen my needle beyond 7200-7300 and I'm boosted! Kinda freaky but I have faith in the VQ.
