Can you have a TSB performed even if you don't have the problem?

And they are all performed for free correct?

 

yup. i take it in for the shake of getting a loaner for the day.

 

I thought the dealership was required to duplicate the issue before they could perform the fix. That's the first step in all the TSBs I've read. I bet that if you're a good customer they will just take your word for it and do the fix.

Unfortunately, to a dealer, a good customer is NOT one that is well aware of TSBs.
