Tire blowout!!!!AGAIN

I have had my G since July, about 3900 miles or so....

Well at about 2500 miles, I got a shard of metal stuck in the center of my rear left tire (driving at night on a main road, did not see it). Ok, well I chalked that up to bad luck.

Then today, on my way back from a sales appt, I hit a very small pot hole and wouldn't you know it....The same tire blows out and turns to shreds...

I just spent $300 getting a tire from Tire Rack, and I have to order another one tonight. BTW, Bridgestone is going to pay half since I only had the tire for about 1 month.

My G is cursed

chalk it up to bad luck..

$hit happens.. one week after i got my coupe, my tire wouldn't stop leaking air.. kept filling it up and the PSI kept dropping afterwards.. anyhow, brought it in finally and one of the bands in the tire broke.. tire defect.. ONE WEEK after purchasing a new car.. now that sucked.. anyhow, got it replaced and michelin covered it all at america's tires.. i did get all four tires warrantied, and granted, i had to replace another one under the newly bought warranty about a month later..

it's not just you.. it's not just you

Nah.. your G isn't cursed. It is just getting a lifetime of tire problems out of the way in a shorter time then most. Now you won't have any tire problems for as long as you own your G! Congrats!

Thanks for the words of encouragement....

I must have looked really funny in a shirt and tie, with a new car, sitting on the shoulder of I-40 changing my tire
