Color Production
Here is a listing of G35 Coupe production numbers per color and transmission. These production numbers are from Infiniti USA and are from start of production through mid July 2003.
Automatic Transmission:
Diamond Graphite 2,677
Silver 2,618
Black 2,561
Red 1,684
Desert Platinum 1,600
Ivory 1,429
Blue 1,013
Total 13,582
6-Speed Transmission:
Diamond Graphite 1,325
Black 1,202
Silver 1,106
Red 608
Desert Platinum 424

I did a search on google and thought the sales numbers were high around 30,000 '03 cars sold State side.
Where did you get you info?
I seached "Infiniti sales" and "Infiniti corp."
A LOT MORE THAN THE "12,000" '03's the dealers said they made!
Edited: I can't find specs on colors, but since July 21,426 coupes were sold in the states! Heres a link:

FYI, CB is still available for 04'. TB was added as an additional color. It didn't replace CB, so there will be more of them. One thing to keep in mind when looking at those numbers is that there is a lot of a color because people like that color. While I passed on CB because I just didn't like(no offense, it is just my personal preference) and TB because it was too dark; I would have gone with Daytona Blue(the Z blue) if it was offered. I chose DG because I liked that color the best(coincidentally like most other G owners by the sales).
