is there a really big difference between

the 6MT and the 5AT insurance cost
i heard that cars with manual trannies ,there insurances is higher

yes.. typically a manual car has an increased insurance cost, because.. well... manuals have a larger chance of accidents, since it's the driver's handwork at risk.

No difference with my insurance company, USAA. I don't think they ever asked if it was a manual or automatic. Statistically, I don't think it matters much.
