Another 500+ HP G!

My G has been torn apart for the last 4 months getting the engine built, fuel system upgraded, turbos reworked into 20G's, heads polished, interior re-done, having some custom silver carbon fiber parts made and various engine parts polished/chromed. We are in the process of tearing the old graphics off it and repainting the kit.

Should get it on the dyno for tuning next week. I will post the numbers.

Here are a few pics snapped along the way. Let me know what you think.

Bruno

Cool

Wow I did not realize how much stuff needed to be done to VQ motor to amp up the HP to 500+ That motor looks beautiful. I guess VQ motor needs alot of work cuz it start its life as a N/A. Wow Very kewl motor Big Bump.
what is the compresiton ru runing and how much work did u have to do on the head?

The reason im askin you this, cuz there is a local 350z guy here in my city claiming he has 600HP to the ground, But when i runed him it didn't look like he has 600 at all.

Place in Phoenix AZ called Sound Xpressions did the mods to the dash and CFtypes in San Diego did the silver CF laminate.

There are turbocharged VQ's making 500 on stock internals with aggressive tuning. We think this motor should make 500+ with conservative tuning (as a daily driver!!!!!) and over 750 if we really push! Engine management is key.

8.5:1 compression. I think I have a couple pics of one of the heads before. Yep, they aren't the best, but you get the idea. Nostly they are just smoothed out and opened up a little.

I'm glad you like the way it looks.

CF Types in San Diego did all of it except the hood, which was done by Versus Motorsports in SoCA. The hood will be painted down both sides to match the car with the CF center left exposed.

CFtypes did these parts custom for me. Check out www.cftype.com if you are interested in seeing what they can do.

Tony @ UMS Tuning in Tempe, AZ is handling all of the mechanical aspects of the car. www.umstuning.com is his site. He also is tuning it.

Did you ARP head studs (bolts) in the rebuild? If so, I'd recommend following the directions to the letter of the law, no matter how expensive it might sound.......
