Lookin' good! What are your impressions of the old vs. new as far as visibility at night? Is it a big improvement or just a small one? If it's a big difference than I may have to do this mod and sacrifice the clearance strip.

Thanks,

I already posted some Ft & 25Ft High/Low pics I have been trying to find an area around here that I can take a nice cutoff pic and visibility.

But to inform you, it is TRUE it is like night and day as to looks and especially
visibility. Projectors just lay a ton of like across your line of sight. with very distinct cut off lines.... Again I'll posts some as soon as I can find a good place to do so.

1) Cutoff line against the wall (Side ways)
2) Dark Road visibility --- Damn you would figure I'd be able to find places easily in Modesto huh?

How much are the headlights? I believe that the old style are $600 or $700 each.

The complete headlight cost was just under 1K, bought the housing w/o bulbs
for 425.00 each + tax and purchased the bulbs separately for complete set for 40.00 a hel* of lot cheaper to go this route than purchase with the bulbs installed, they wanted double the price that way.

Can I ask where you got them for that price?

I can PM you this info... Not to suggest that it's any secret, but I don't wish to disclose the dealerships name in open forum..... They probably already hate me from all the requests by now LOL

You wouldnt happen to know what kind of projectors are in there do you? Cause i have s2k projectors with bulbs n ballasts laying around from my previous car and i think i would just get a full out retro if you spent that much....but looks great!!

Actually I don't know, but that is the route I previously chose but ended in going this route since I didn't have time to retro my own G... But you are definitely right. Good luck there many here that have Great looking G's with retro's
