Question to 6mt owners

Re: Question to 6mt owners
I find the clutch engagement to be smooth, took a little time to get use to though. The pedal seems a bit too light for me and it engages too high. I'm used to my miata with an ACT clutch and 8lb FW where it grabs at the floor.
Heel toe downshifting is not only necessary under full braking, its useful to get in the right gear to make a turn at the light or for freeway off ramp exits.

Not to belabor the point, but you should always depress the clutch ALL the way. If you don't, you are only hurting the clutch and will end up replacing it sooner than is necessary.
Like I said in my previous post to this thread, just shift above 3500 rpm once the car is warmed up (in lower gears). I believe that one of the reasons for this is because of the high gear ratio at lower gears (someone else can verify whether or not I am full of it)... but either way it doesn't matter.
Based on the original inquiry, this person must be getting this at low rpms because the car does not jerk at higher rpms, which means that he is not racing and that there is no need not to push the clutch in all the way. At low speeds and low acceleration, just release the clutch slower and you will not get that jerking feeling (if you are shifting below 3500 rpms).
I'm out.
