What color should I get?
What color should I get?
I'm ordering my coupe next week (woohoo) and was wondering what color was the most popular. If you could post some good pics of the different colors that would help. unfortunately my dealer doesn't have any in stock so I can't check out color choices. Are the sedan and coupe colors the same?

Get Black!
Just hope you love to wash and wax(Zaino) it like I do. Otherwise I would suggest you browes the Rides section(see on left side of this forum) to see the different colors. Then make sure you ask your dealer to call you when they get ordered cars in so at least you can see the colors. Everyone has different taste and only you know what you like best!

Re: What color should I get?
somewhere on this board you can find a list through july that has cars by color.
diamond graphite is #1 for coupe.
coupe does not come in green
sedan does not come in diamond graphite (charcoal grey, but great)
after seeing a sedan other day, i wouldn't have minded ordering my coupe in the green or desert platinum. desert platinum looks like it changes colors based upon the lighting.
for 04, sedan will come in diamond graphite, both will come in midnight or twilight blue.

Re: What color should I get?
is diamond graphite really that great? I haven't seen it on the road yet and actually have seen most of the other colors... i'm planning to get the Red since it's probably not a popular color choice, i'll be somewhat unique hehe...

Re: What color should I get?
Obviousely if you are looking for "the" color diamond graphite is the way to go. Personally I like that color better on sedans for some reason. I think it'll look great on a g35 sedan!
I went for the less popular dessert platnium on black graphite leather. It changes from silver (a sporty color) to gold tint (a luxurious color) depending on the light/angle. I think that luxury/sport split characterizes the nature g35c perfectly.

I knew diamond, black, and silver were the top 3, but I would have sworn that silver is by far the most common. Maybe that's just the sedans. Anyway, I bought black, and either diamond or white would have been my second choice. Without any other dark colors to choose from, it's to be expected that black is near the top in popularity despite the maintainance hassle. Hopefully the new dark color, twilight blue, will cut into those numbers.

Aside from the color question, these numbers contradict what we've been hearing about 6MT coupe production being 10-15% of total. It works out to just over 28% using these figures, or about double the previously assumed figure. Interesting.
As to color choice, mine's Diamond Graphite, and aside from looking incredible (I get a lot of compliments just about the color), perhaps its biggest asset is near-total stealth dirt-wise. Basically the car can be QUITE grimy and barely show it at all. It's a nice bonus when you want to drive but don't have time to wash it. It looks great anyway...

Get what you like dude, they are all nice.
D/G / Silverstone was the most pupular colour last time I checked. I have it and, and take it from me, it's low maintenance.
If I had to choose again today I'd definitely give Twilight Blue a look. (but that wouldn't be as low maintenance)
Good luck bro, it's your choice......

Re: What color should I get?
i have a black sedan but as far as coupes go i've seen some pretty nice looking ones in silverstone and white. seems to bring out the coupe body more to me rather than the dark colors. but hey it's a G so any color would look nice. it'll really just come down to how often you want to clean the thing.

I have (and really like) the Caribbean Blue. You have to see it in person. The color is elegant yet sporty. It's an attention getter. I can't tell you how many positive comments I've gotten about the car.
But that's just my opinion, you should get whichever color YOU like best. Afterall, you'll be the one making the payments.
