HELP!! Grille Install

Hey guys, I just got my SP grille in for the 05 G coupe. It's painted and ready to go... BUT I can't get the stock grille off. I removed the 6 "black plastic screwies thingies" but the top of the grille is still stuck on the corners. I can't figure out how to remove it. As for the bottom of the grille, there are these clips holding it in, but they too won't budge. Can anyone help me plz??????? Thanks!!
(I did do a search for a DIY but there were no results)

You have to push down a piece of the grill (small clip inside) on the upper corners. I used a small flat head screwdriver with some force to pull it off. Don't get nervous about using force, it feels like it's going to break off, but it won't break. Good luck.

*dammit, you beat me to it ^

There is a DIY if you search in this section, but I'll just tell you how to do it anyways. Use a flathead screwdriver and you can stick it on the corners and turn counterclockwise, this will release the little plastic screw holding it in. The bottom portion you can just pull-off, just use a little force. Good luck!

You should not need force!!!!

IN the upper corners you will see a little slot that looks like a flat head would fit. Look into that slot and you will see a square screw head, turn that 1/4 turn on each side. Now, reach ur hand behind the grill, you will see several silver tabs sticking through. Go to each one and depress the tab (on the tab) and push out to releas the main tab. I think there are 4-6 of these that you need to repeat for each one. Grill should come off easily.

I used minimal force, and it popped off just fine. It did feel like it was going to break, but it didn't.

Gotta futz with em a bit. It may be easier to remove them from the car and install them in the grill first then put grill back in.

As far as using force, yes I did it that way the first time I removed mine, but Ducatiguy showed me the lil screws on the side that get a 1/4 turn. No chance in breaking the grill that way.

I think he meant only using force to take out the bottom portion of the grill. The corner screws didn't require any force when using the screwdriver.

Bottome portion should def not need force! You will break the cheap plastic tabs easily! With the hood open all you do is reach behind and squeeze the tab and she'll come right out!

Wow now that can be perverted!

I always use painters tape, on the paint near the bottom of the grill so I don't scratch the paint when I remove the grill.
