I voted 93, but the best we get in most places on the West Coast is 92.

Where you getting 93 in socal? 91 is the highest you can find here in San Diego county?! ...and everywhere else surrounding as far as i know.

93+ only in my G. I used to put 89 in my old TL but the engine started to make funny noises. I changed back to 93 and the noises went away. People who say there's no difference are wrong.

Depends on the car. There isn't going to be a difference between 89 or 93 in a Honda civic...it's just usually the case that a higher compression engine or one that is FI will need 93.

112 at the track. only a 3 or 4 gallons. that **** is good but its like $8/gallon

It always amazes me when I see guys with $70K+ cars putting 89 octaine gas in their cars to save a couple of bucks a tankful. A couple of months ago when the price of 93 climbed well past $3 a gallon, I saw a guy with a MB SL 500 putting 89 octaine in his tank. I know it's good to save whenever you can, but if money is so important wouldn't it make more sense to buy a Toyota for $80K less rather than try to save a few dollars a fillup?
