i wanted to install my injen but i was wondering if anyone out there put theres in without taking off the bumper.

 

from what i understand it is possible to install it with out removing the bumper but its a lot more easy to simple remove the bumber.

 

I installed mine by removing the left front half of the inner fender lining, allot easier than messing with removing the bumper. I also did not remove black foam block and plastic panel they tell you to. I simply sliced a section of the foam off with a X-acto knife to get airflow, but not expose the intake to wind driven rain. Nor do I have any problems at idle at any speed, ever. You can DIY, trust me.

Not that I can say it mean's anything, I installed the MAF sensor upside down, I found the lack of slack in the wire's running to it unexceptable. Mounting it that way gave me the the slack I wanted.
